Considering the technique for the damage identification base on the dynamic characteristics is an effective way of identifying the structure damages,the present research development for this technique on its dynamic characteristics is told,the damage identifying method and its principle on the basis of structure vibration response and the system's dynamic parameters is remarked and some questions about this method waiting to be studied further is put forward.
